Dated 1840 in local C17 style. One storey, Stone with stone roof. Gable to either end and to centre with date, inscription and finial. Label-mouldings to windows Arched doorways. Decorative railing to forecourt with gates to north. Nos 1 to 9 (consec) Popples Almshouses form a group.
