Description
The gazebo to Holdsworth House is a small, two-storey stone building located at the southwest corner of the forecourt on Holdsworth Road. It dates from the 17th century and features a stone roof with gables topped by finials on each face. The east and south sides have single mullioned windows with transoms. There is a moulded doorway on the north side with stone steps leading up to it, while the lower parts of the building have a plain doorway and small windows. This gazebo is part of an important village group that includes Nos 1 to 4 (consecutive), a barn behind Nos 1 to 4, Holdsworth Farmhouse, another barn and cottage, Holdsworth House with its wall and gateway to the forecourt, and Laurel Bank with Nos 1 to 3 (consecutive).
