This is a terrace of improved workers' houses and shops located at 46 Titus Street, likely completed by 1861. It was designed by Lockwood and Mawson for Titus Salt. The building is constructed from hammer-dressed stone and has a Welsh slate roof. It features two storeys with two bays each. The end houses project forward, are gabled, and have shop fronts with original stone cornices. No 45 is now part of No 46. The entrances have fanlights in stepped reveals, and the ground-floor windows are all round-arched and archivolted. The first-floor windows are square-headed, except for the end houses, which have a triple group with round-arched lights. Nos 40 and 46 retain their original 6-pane sashes. There is a first-floor sill band and shaped stone brackets supporting the gutter. This terrace is part of the Saltaire model village.
