Description

Numbers 1 to 35 Grove Terrace, including Number 37 Great Horton Road, is a terrace of two-storey houses built around 1855-1860. The houses are constructed from sandstone with ashlar dressings. Each house typically features two windows, and Nos 7 and 29 have canted bays. The eaves cornice is supported by console brackets, and the roofs are covered with slate. The doorways are notable for their voussoir arched fanlights, flanking pilasters, and cornices.
