Description

This is a range of three symmetrical houses, numbers 10, 12, and 14, dated around 1840. They are constructed from ashlar sandstone, featuring a sill band, a frieze, and a projecting moulded cornice with a blocking course. Each house has two windows on the first floor. The right-hand bay of number 10 is slightly recessed. The windows above the doorways have architrave surrounds and consoles supporting the sills. They are revealed sash windows, lacking glazing bars. The doorways are pilastered, with an egg and dart string to the capitals, deep friezes, and cornices with blocking courses.
