Description
Nos 32, 34, and 36 on Little Horton Lane are a block of three houses built around 1850. They are two storeys high, constructed from sandstone "brick" raised on a coursed rubble basement. The buildings feature a stringcourse and sill band, a bed mould to the frieze, and a bracketed eaves cornice, topped with a slate roof and corniced chimneys.
There are six windows in total on the first floor, which are 19th-century sashes set in linteled reveals. On the ground floor, Nos 32 and 36 have shallow rectangular tripartite bay windows with bracketed cornices, while No 34 has a tripartite bow window. Each house has a round-headed doorway framed by architrave surrounds; however, the doorway of No 32 is blocked, and a later entrance has been made on the five-bay north return. The buildings are included for their group value.
