Description

This barn, located approximately 20 metres south of Near Scholes Farmhouse, is dated 1698. It is constructed of stone and features a stone slate roof. The barn has a segmental-arched cart entry and a loft doorway with a segmental-shaped, dated lintel. There are two rows of round-headed vent slits with decorated spandrels, as well as slit vents in the gable end.
