Description
This outbuilding, located approximately 20 yards to the east of West End Farmhouse, is a two-storey structure dating from the 17th century. It is built from sandstone and gritstone and features flush quoins. The building has chamfered mullion windows with drip moulds, including four-light windows in the gable ends. The roof is made of stone slate and includes saddlestones on shaped kneelers at the gable ends. One of the gables is adorned with a panel carved with the cross of the Knights of St John of Jerusalem. This outbuilding was formerly part of the original farmhouse or a related dwelling.
