Description
Croft House is a house built in the late 18th century. It is constructed of hammer-dressed stone with dressed quoins of the same material, and has a stone slate roof. The facade is three bays wide. The central doorway features monolithic jambs and an open storm porch. A date stone, initialled and dated "ESM" 1787, is set above the doorway in an arched niche flanked by impost and keystones. To the left of the doorway, there is a single sash window with plain stone surrounds on each floor. To the right, there are two-light, flat-faced mullioned windows on each floor. The gables are coped with kneelers and stacks, the stack to the right being of brick and rendered.
