Description

This is an early 19th century row of cottages, numbered 56 to 68, Highgate, Heaton. The cottages are two storeys high and constructed of sandstone "brick" with stone slate roofs. Each cottage has two windows, featuring single or two/three-light square mullioned windows, some of which have been altered. The row is listed for its group value, representing a surviving component of the original village.
