Description
The barn and adjoining cottage, now serving as an outbuilding, date from the early 18th century. They are constructed of squared coursed rubble and topped with a stone slate roof. The structure is single storey with a continuous outshut at the front. This features a central square-headed cart entrance that has a recent lintel. Above the entrance, there is a gable that includes a 2-light double-chamfered window, although the mullion has been removed, and the gable is adorned with copings on cut kneelers. There are Tudor-arched doorways on both the left and right sides, along with 19th-century windows.
To the right, the adjoining outbuilding has a 3-light double-chamfered window and gable copings on the left side. The rear of the building shows quoins and features a central cart entrance with a quoined surround and a cambered head, along with breather holes. The cottage, set back to the left, has a Tudor-arched entrance, a 2-light double-chamfered window, hollow-chamfered gable copings on moulded kneelers, and an ashlar gable stack. The interior has not been inspected.
