Description
Royds Hall Farmhouse is a building from the latter part of the 17th century. It features a symmetrical design made of gritstone, with a two-storey central range flanked by gabled wings. The roofs are covered with stone slates and have saddlestones with prominent kneelers. The windows include four and five light chamfered mullions, and there is a triple group of round-headed lights on the ground floor of the central range, all of which have dropped drip moulds. The doorway has a four-centred arch with chamfered jambs set in a squared head. The rear wing is gabled, also with kneelers, and has an external chimney stack with offsets.
