Description
This is a row of cottages built in the late 18th century, originally constructed from sandstone that appears like brick. Numbers 8 to 16, even, form the row. Number 12 has a plaque inscribed "T H 1770". The roofs are covered with stone slates and include a saddlestone and a prominent kneeler on number 16. The cottages originally featured three-light mullion windows within squared surrounds, with a single light above each doorway. Some mullions have been removed. The doors are set within squared jambs.
