Description

This is a row of twelve cottages, built around 1800 to 1820. The cottages are constructed from thin sandstone "bricks." A horizontal band runs along the first-floor window sills, and the eaves are made of moulded stone, with a stone slate roof. Each cottage front has a three-light mullioned window with a flush frame on both the ground and first floors, with a single-light window above the doorway. Most windows have leaded casements, dating from around 1900. Number 12 was originally two cottages.
