Description

Brow Top is a row of cottages located off the west side of Baldwin Lane, part of a farm and cottage group. These two-storey cottages date from around 1830 and are constructed from sandstone "brick" with stone slate roofs. They feature "dentil" brackets at the eaves. Each cottage has two single light, squared, flush framed windows on the first floor, set above a sill band, and two light flush framed, square mullion windows on the ground floor. The doorways are plain.
