Description
Nos 18 and 20 on Holts Lane are a pair of houses with distinct architectural features. No 18 is an early 19th-century infill cottage, while No 20 dates from the late 18th century and is constructed of sandstone with stone slate roofs.
No 18 features two-light square mullion windows set in squared surrounds. In contrast, No 20 has a blind three-light square mullion window on the first floor, notable for its outer lights which are round-headed and also set in a squared surround. The ground floor of No 20 includes a single-light window and a doorway with squared jambs.
