Description
These cottages, numbered 52 and 54 Windhill Old Road in Thackley, were likely built around 1800, possibly as a rebuilding of earlier structures. The cottages are two storeys high and constructed from irregularly coursed sandstone, which resembles brick. They have a stone slate roof and corniced chimneys. No. 52 features three-light square mullion windows, while No. 54 has two-light square mullion windows. The doorways have squared jambs.
