Description
This is a row of six sandstone cottages, numbers 1 to 11 North Street, Thackley, dating to around 1820 to 1830. Numbers 5 and 7 are three stories high, while the others are lower. The cottages have stone slate roofs and corniced chimneys. The front features square mullion windows with two lights, set within squared surrounds. The rear of numbers 5 and 7 has three-light windows. A round-headed doorway is present at number 5; the other doorways are plain with squared jambs. The building is included on the list for its group value.
