Description
Numbers 61 (Commercial Inn), 63, and 65 are a late 18th century farmhouse, with Nos 63 and 65 converted from the original barn around 1830-1840. The building is two stories tall and constructed from sandstone "brick," featuring flush quoins. It has a common stone slate roof, corniced chimneys, and bracketed eaves. The inn has a symmetrical three-bay front with two-light square mullion windows and a single central light above a square-jamb doorway. The cottages also have two-light square mullion windows.
