Description

Park Place is a circa 1800 row of two-storey sandstone cottages, located on Park Road, Thackley. Numbers 1 to 5 are likely of 18th-century origin, with No. 1 also featuring a rear wing from the same period. The cottages are constructed with flush quoins and have stone slate roofs, with saddlestones marking the gable ends. Decorative corniced chimneys are present, along with shaped kneelers. The windows are two-light square mullion windows set within squared surrounds. Doorways feature squared jambs, and No. 5 possesses a massive block lintel. The grouping is included on the list for its group value.
