Description
North Hall Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse that stands two stories tall and is constructed of coursed gritstone. The windows have been partially remullioned around the year 1800. It features a stone slate roof with saddlestones and kneelers. The chimneys, which date from around 1800, have cornices, but there is also an original external stone chimney stack with offsets located at the rear. The farmhouse includes one original four-light chamfered mullion window, while the others are three-light square mullion windows set in squared surrounds, along with a slightly later two-light window on the ground floor. The entrance has a chamfered jamb with a four-centred arch doorway set in a squared head, and the lintel is inscribed with "L B 1649."
