Description
This is a 17th-century farmhouse located near Coney Garth Farmhouse in Keighley. The building is constructed from coursed stone and features a stone slate roof. It has two storeys, with two first-floor windows and an oculus, along with an added cell. The corners of the building are accentuated with quoins.
The central doorway is chamfered and has quoined edges, with plinth blocks and an ogee-moulded lintel that is inscribed. The ground floor has double-chamfered mullion windows, consisting of five lights and eight lights with a king mullion, while the first floor has four lights and six lights, also with king mullions. Some of the mullions have been removed. Above the doorway, there is an oculus set in a stone surround. A central corniced stack is present on the roof.
To the left, the added cell features quoins, a plain stone surround doorway with interrupted jambs, and a shaped kneeler with ashlar coping. At the rear, there are traces of two two-light double-chamfered mullion windows. An attached barn to the right is not of special interest.
