Description

Nos 23 to 31 on Sapgate Lane are a row of cottages built around 1800 to 1820, located to the north of Nos 15 to 21. They are constructed from sandstone "brick" and feature a stone slate roof with corniced chimneys. The cottages have two and three light square mullion windows set in squared surrounds, although some of these windows have been altered. The doorways have squared jambs. This row is included for its group value.
