Description

The viaduct and bridge south of the mill pond in Burley in Wharfedale is possibly from the 18th century. It features a raised pathway that is bordered by a low wall with grooved coping. The structure includes a plain round-headed arch that allows for the passage of the mill stream. This site is part of a group that includes Burley Ball, former orchard walls south of Burley Hall, the piers and gates of the entrance to Burley Hall from Corn Mill Lane, the garden wall to the south of Burley Hall, Corn Mill Cottage, Corn Mill Cottage Barn to the south, and the Corn Mill.
