Description
The piers and gates at the entrance to Burley Hall from Corn Mill Lane date from the second quarter of the 19th century. They support double gates that are partly made of wood and feature a decorative metal frieze along with spear finials. These structures are part of a group that includes Burley Hall, former orchard walls to the south of Burley Hall, a garden wall to the south of Burley Hall, a viaduct and bridge south of the mill pond, Corn Mill Cottage, Corn Mill Cottage Barn to the south, and the Corn Mill.
