Description

The building comprises a pair of villas, numbers 8 and 10 Claremont, constructed around 1860. They are two-storey structures built of ashlar stone. Each villa has five windows on the first floor, set above a prominent sill band. The ground floor features outer, canted bay windows and a central, shallow, stone tripartite bow window. This bow window is flanked by doorways with architraves, slender engaged columns, and entablatures.
