Description
No 10 Melbourne Place is a villa built around 1840. It is two storeys high and constructed from sandstone ashlar, featuring a three-bay front. The building has a frieze and a moulded gutter with an eaves cornice. The roof is gable-ended and covered with stone slates, and it has corniced chimneys. The windows are revealed sash windows, with the central window on the first floor set within an architrave surround. On the ground floor, there are canted bay windows, each with architrave surrounds for the lights. The entrance features a painted Tuscan pilastered doorway with an entablature that has a projecting cornice.
