Description

This is a two-storey, purpose-built row of shops with living accommodation above, dating to circa 1850-60. The building is constructed of sandstone "brick" with stone slate roofs. It features flanking low-pitched gables with corniced chimneys surmounted by shaped kneelers. The windows are sash windows. The ground floor has shop fronts framed by pilasters and a continuous entablature. The building is included in the listing for its group value.
