Description
Causeway Foot Farmhouse is a cottage that likely dates from the late 17th century. It is built from rendered coursed rubble and features a stone slate roof. The farmhouse has two storeys and consists of a single-cell layout. Each floor has a three-light double-chamfered mullioned window. The doorway has composite jambs, a deep lintel, and a chamfered surround. To the left, there is a slightly later addition with a lower roof line, which includes a small window and a larger sashed window above. A tall gable stack is located on the right side of the building. At the rear, there is a tall narrow chamfered window with three vertical lights and transoms, likely intended to illuminate the staircase. The interior has not been inspected.
