Description

Raikes Farmhouse and integral barn is a mid to late 18th century building that features both the farmhouse and barn under one roof. It has undergone some alterations over the years. The structure is two storeys high and constructed of sandstone with a stone slate roof. There are traces of earlier openings visible on the building. The farmhouse includes two windows that have renewed square mullions set in squared surrounds, as well as a squared jamb doorway. The barn is marked by a segmental voussoir archway that is dated 1839.
