Description
Gib Stubbing Farmhouse is a gritstone farmhouse dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century, featuring two storeys and a modern extension. The original elevation on the south side is plain, topped with a stone slate roof and 18th-century corniced chimneys. The first floor has two three-light square mullion windows with squared surrounds, while the ground floor has two-light and three-light windows, originally four-light, with chamfered mullions and drip moulds above. The doorway is marked by a massive pediment-shaped lintel and a chamfered design. Although the interior has been largely altered, it still retains exposed stop-chamfered ceiling beams.
