Description

Ryecroft Farm is a pair of two-storey home farm cottages dating from the mid to late 18th century, associated with Ryecroft Hall. The cottages are constructed from large sandstone "bricks" with flush quoins and feature a stone slate roof topped with corniced chimneys. They have three-light square mullion windows set in squared surrounds, with renewed mullions on the ground floor. The doorways have squared jambs. At the rear, there is a wing that was likely part of the former stables, which includes a blocked segmental archway dated 1752.
