Description
25 Ned Lane is a building dating from around 1800, originally a pair of cottages. It is two storeys high and constructed of sandstone "brick" with small flush quoins. The roof is made of stone slate and features corniced chimneys. The first floor has four-light square mullion windows, while the ground floor has two- and three-light windows, all set in squared surrounds. The doorways are plain with squared jambs. The side elevations are made of red brick, typical of the Tong area. The rear elevation has an outshut, which includes a square mullion window with four lights, one of which is blind.
