Description

Raikes Hall Farmhouse is a late 17th-century farmhouse constructed from coursed gritstone and features a stone slate roof. The building is two stories high and includes one saddlestone. It has irregular quoins and windows with chamfered mullions, originally designed as four-light windows but now two-light, each with drip moulds. To the right side of the farmhouse, there are doorways with four-centred arches and chamfered edges. A modern sandstone "brick" extension has been added to the east, designed to be in keeping with the original structure.
