4/81 Barn 10 metres to the north of the Old Rectory

Barn. Initialled and dated " ICM". Hammer-dressed stone, stone slate 1806 roof. Symmetrical facade. Segmental-arched cart entry has skewbacks, expressed keystone and composite jambs. Above is lunette with date plaque. 2-over-2 rectangular ventilators with arched heads. Doorways to either side with composite jambs and punch-dressed lintels. Gutter brackets. Left-hand return wall has carved stone decorated with cross, re-used medieval grave-slab. (Close by is St. Peter's Church q.v.). 5-bay interior with fish-bone king-post roof with curved angle struts.
