Description
This is a disused ornamental chimney, located 40 meters northwest of Number 2, which is not included in the listing. It was built around 1875 as part of the heating system for a range of greenhouses that have since been demolished. The chimney is constructed from coursed squared stone and ashlar, featuring a round shaft with a moulded plinth and cornice, as well as square and octagonal dice. It has a faceted square base and a stepped plinth, with a plain square stone lower stage that includes an ashlar band. The chimney stands approximately 6 meters high and is included for its visual group value with Sheffield High School for Girls.
