Description
The boundary wall and gates at Number 10 Sheffield High School for Girls were built in 1884, likely by the architectural firm Tanner & Smith of London. The wall is constructed of coursed squared stone with ashlar dressings and features a short wall with chamfered coping. It is flanked by two pairs of round ashlar gate piers topped with conical caps. To the right, there is a single latticework wooden gate, while a smaller double gate is located to the left. This structure is included for its group value with the school.
