Description
The boundary wall, railing, and gates at Heeley Bank Community Centre were built in 1880 by E.R. Robson for the Sheffield School Board. The structure features coursed squared stone with ashlar dressings, complemented by cast-iron railings and gates. The low wall, approximately 100 meters long, has a stepped chamfered coping and supports lattice-work railings. In the center and to the left, there are a pair of square ashlar piers with domed caps and pairs of gates. To the right, a pair of similar piers leads to a smaller gateway. Beyond this, there is a stone wall with a rounded corner and stepped triangular coping that fronts Myrtle Road, measuring about 70 meters long. This structure serves as an ancillary building to Heeley Bank Community Centre and is included for its group value.
