Manager's house and adjoining stable, now museum. 1838. Coursed squared stone with ashlar dressings and Welsh slate and stone slate roofs with single brick gable stack. House, 2 storeys; 2 window range with 12 pane sash to left and 8 pane sash to right. Below, 12 pane sash, and to right a board door with overlight. All openings have stone lintels. To right again, blank stable wall. Right gable has a small square hatch and above it, a round pigeonhole in the peak. Central board door. Rear has a central doorway with stone jambs, double board door and gabled hood. On either side, a 6-pane casement. INTERIOR: house has fitted kitchen range and stone sink, and cast-iron parlour fireplace flanked by round-headed niches.
