Description
Nos. 367-373 on Glossop Road are two pairs of houses built around 1840. They are constructed of brick with a rendered left return and feature ashlar dressings. The hipped slate roof has three brick ridge stacks. The buildings have a plinth, a first-floor band, and a sill band, with brick panelled pilasters in the center and at each end. The end pilasters are topped with a cornice and blocking.
The houses are two storeys tall and have a six-window range. The windows are 12-pane sashes with brick flat arches. Below the windows, there are two corniced doorcases featuring Doric half-columns and decorated friezes, each with a beaded six-panel door and overlight. The right return has a projecting square porch with a similar doorcase facing the front. The left return has two windows and a similar doorcase on the left, with a window to the right. Above the left return, there is a first-floor bridge connecting to the adjacent houses, featuring a 12-pane sash window on the left and a plain sash window on the right. The interior has not been inspected.
