3/177 Cruck-framed house approximately 10 metres to south of Windhill Farmhouse.

GV II

House, now a cowhouse with hayloft; Possibly C16, cruck-framed, irregular gritstone rubble, stone slate roof. 2 storeys, 1½ bays; Boulder plinth, large quoins. Mostly altered openings, both gables partially collapsed. East gable retains 3-light"double-.chamfered mullion window with one mullion, Interior: 2 cruck pairs, one pair built into east gable, the other internal truss raised in the walling. Internal truss has moulded head-height tie beam with soffit mortices and peg holes for a ground floor doorway; Cruck blades chamfer-stopped and with a continuous running soffit-mortice for infill Wall tie beam sawn off, curved windbraces to chamfer-stopped purlins. Notched lap joint to collar below crossing apex and diagonal set ridge. East truss with chamfered tie beams, the wall tie beam cambered, Disused at time of resurvey.
