Description
Salt Springs Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. It is built of coursed, squared gritstone and has a 20th-century cement-tiled roof. The farmhouse features a gable-entry plan and stands two storeys high, with one window on the first floor. There is a boarded door to the left, set in an ashlar surround, and to the right, there are two-light flat-faced mullion windows with sashes. On the first floor, there is a cill band and a five-light mullion window, with the outermost lights being blind and the others having sashes. The right side of the building has two tall ashlar stacks, both with plain bands, and a blocked doorway on the right return, along with a single casement window on the first floor. Attached to the left are derelict farm buildings that are not of special interest.
