Description
Nos. 375-385 on Glossop Road in Sheffield are a group of six houses dating from around 1840, which have been converted and altered for use as a restaurant around 1989. The buildings are constructed of red brick with ashlar dressings and feature a slate roof with pedimented gables and five brick ridge stacks. They have a plinth, a first floor band, and wooden eaves. The structure is three storeys tall, plus a basement, and has a total of ten windows. The windows are 20th-century top hung glazing bar casements with brick flat arches. On the ground floor, there are four flat-roofed wooden porticos supported by paired pilasters; the third portico has a 20th-century door, while the others have glazing bar windows. The right return of the building features a single window on the upper floors and a wooden doorcase with double pilasters and a cornice.
