Description
This milestone, located approximately 30 metres to the north-west of Mausoleum Lodge, dates from the late 18th century. It is made of sandstone and features an ashlar slab with a shaped head. The inscription on the milestone is barely legible and reads: "LONDON / 16- / Rotherham / ------ / Barnsley / -----".
