ASTON-CUM-AUGHTON MANSFIED ROAD SK48SE (north-east side) 10/13 Milepost approximately 200 metres south-east of junction with Lodge Lane II Milepost. Late C19. Maker: Brayshaw and Booth, Liversedge. Cast iron, on gritstone pillar. Angled sides and sloping top plate beneath round-headed panel. Raised lettering reads:

On upper panel: ROTHERHAM & PLEASLEY / ROAD / ASTON / CUM / AUGHTON

On left side: MANSFIELD / 17 1/4 MILES / PLEASLEY / - MILES (part buried)
