Description
Tithe Barn Cottage is a farmhouse built in the late 18th century. It is constructed from deeply-coursed dressed sandstone and features a renewed pantile roof. The building has two storeys and two windows on the first floor, along with a continuous outshut and an addition at the rear right. It has a plinth, dressed quoins, and a deep lintel above the central doorway. The flanking windows on each floor contain 20th-century casements set in original openings, which have projecting sills and lintels that are tooled as voussoirs. The cottage also has shaped kneelers and ashlar gable copings, with renewed brick stacks at the ends.
