DEARNE HIGH STREET (south, off), Bolton upon Dearne Animal Shelter with Hay Loft and attached Stables to South-east of No 67 (Grange Farmhouse)

Farmbuilding. Early C19 with alterations c1900. Dressed stone with ashlar dressings and Welsh slate roofs. Ashlar coped gables with kneelers. North and east walls blank. West gable wall has boarded opening to upper floor and further boarded opening to gable. South front has off- centre doorway with plank door, flanked by single windows. To right large threshing doorway now obscured by single storey range with corrugated asbestos roof and alternating stable doors and windows. INTERIOR has late C19 timber roof trusses.
