Description

Bank End Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse, likely heightened in the 18th century. It is constructed of irregularly-coursed rubble sandstone with a renewed pantile roof. The farmhouse is two storeys high and has three windows on the first floor. The central doorway has a 20th-century door and a heightened lintel. Window surrounds are single-chamfered, with the mullions removed and replaced with 20th-century casements. There are three-light windows at each end, a two-light window to the right of the door, and the position of another window to the left of the door is now a blocked doorway. Three two-light windows are on the first floor. Renewed kneelers and gable copings are present. A brick ridge stack is located to the right of the centre and a 20th-century projecting end stack is on the left.
