Description
Grove House Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th century. It is constructed of cement-rendered brick and features a pantile roof. The building has two storeys and an attic, with three windows on the first floor. At the rear, there is a continuous outshut, and to the left, a one-storey addition with two windows set back from the main structure.
The central entrance consists of a part-glazed door from the 20th century, accompanied by a three-pane overlight in a wooden doorcase. This is flanked by tripartite sash windows that have projecting stone sills. On the first floor, there are three four-pane sashes, also with projecting sills. The eaves are cogged, and the building features shaped kneelers and gable copings, although those on the left have been renewed. There are external end stacks with offsets beneath the verge and large, plain shafts. The addition on the left has casement windows with three and one lights.
