Description

The White House is a farmhouse dating from the late 18th century, with some alterations made in the 19th century. It is constructed of brick, which is now covered in cement render. The roof is slate, featuring ashlar coped gables with kneelers, and has two gable stacks along with a ridge stack. There is a first floor band.

The south front of the building has two storeys and consists of four bays. The doorway is off-centre and features a six-panel door with an overlight, flanked by single glazing bar sash windows. There is another similar sash window to the left, all set beneath cambered arches. On the upper floor, there are four glazing bar sash windows.
